They probably only did it for Yellow and HGSS because they were remakes and had the time to make the sprites for every single Pokemon. Too much effort doing it for a new game.

The 3d models already exist from when you look at them at the Pokedex. The difficult part is adding the walking animations for all of the N amount of pokemon.

i kinda watched treehouse when they talked about 4 way battle.
i think its when the first person to loose all pokemon faint the battle ends

This gen's bug Pokemon are some of the best looking in the series imo. This gen's Pikachu clone is meh.
 
Really wanna see what Cutiefly evolves into, bug fairy is an interesting typing. But Pikachu clones are always underwhelming, the only good one was Marill back in Gen 2 for being usable and more subtle.

the pikachu clone looks pretty cool, i like the steel typing

bruxish's ability apparently doesn't allow priority moves, which is a m a z i n g

the magic school bus electric bug

cutiefly is eh

drampa looks cool, and i like the typing

I Still want starter evolutions, but this was pretty good
 
I haven't looked into this game at all and I am going to blindly buy it anyway.
